Mercedes-Benz Deliver A Customised Maybach GLS — From Tuscaloosa, USA To Vadodara

Prof Dr. Bharat Balasubramanian was a former board member of Mercedes-Benz India and even been the former vice president of Daimler group research and advanced engineering. Dr. Bharat personally visited and documented the production and customisation of the Maybach GLS at the Tuscaloosa manufacturing plant in the USA.

Mercedes-Benz shared that only a few Maybach GLS SUVs are handcrafted every year. The Maybach GLS 600 comes with a 4.0L twin-turbo petrol V8. It produces 577PS of power between 6000rpm and 6500rpm and 730Nm of torque between 2500rpm and 4500rpm. The engine channels power to all 4 wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Maybach GLS also gets a Maybach mode that dials all the settings to absolute comfort.
