Along with the exterior changes, the Gloster Black Storm edition could also offer an all-black interior theme with black seat upholstery. Currently, the Gloster offers brown interiors with quilted leather seats. Furthermore, we do not expect MG to offer any big functional changes with the upcoming special edition. The standard Gloster SUV offers features like 6 airbags, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), power-adjustable front seats, panoramic sunroof, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and digital driver’s display.

On the powertrain front, the Gloster comes with 2 engine options — 2.0L turbo diesel and 2.0L twin-turbo diesel. The 2.0L turbo diesel engine produces 161PS of power at 4000rpm and 373Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 2400rpm. The 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine, on the other hand, produces 215PS of power at 4000rpm and 478Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 2400rpm. Both engines come mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission and the twin-turbo diesel engine also offers 4-wheel-drive.
