MG Motor India are now working on a sub-Rs. 10.0 lakh compact electric vehicle for the Indian market. While it is likely to sit on a global platform, expect MG to heavily localise it to save costs. We expect the upcoming MG EV to undercut the Tata Nexon EV and the upcoming Mahindra XUV400. Apart from the upcoming EV, MG Motor India are also likely to launch the Gloster facelift later this year.
