Maruti Suzuki have confirmed the name of their upcoming 3-row family MPV. The upcoming MPV, which was earlier rumoured to be called the Engage, will be known as Invicto. Read on to know more about the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto.

Maruti’s flagship model finally has a name — Invicto. The new Invicto will essentially be a rebadged version of the Toyota Innova Hycross. A new set of spy shots that emerged online recently revealed its key design changes over its Toyota counterpart. In terms of changes, the Invicto will offer a redesigned front grille and updated LED headlights and tail lights that feature Nexa’s signature LED design. The Invicto is also likely to feature tweaked front and rear bumpers.

On the inside, the Invicto is likely to offer a lighter shade of upholstery over the Innova Hycross’ brown seat upholstery. We can also expect Suzuki to use lighter materials for the dashboard inserts and roofliner as well. In terms of features, we do not expect the Invicto to be any different from the Innova Hycross. It could offer features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Since the upcoming Invicto 3-row SUV from Maruti Suzuki will be sourced from Toyota, it is likely to carry the same engine and transmission options as the Toyota Innova Hycross. However, we believe that Maruti Suzuki may introduce the hybrid powertrains to the Invicto a little later after its launch and only bring the 2.0L normal petrol at launch.
We also believe Maruti may offer the Invicto with the option of a manual transmission with this engine to keep the starting prices low. This powertrain option will also help the Invicto better compete with cars like the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV700 and Scorpio N that offer a manual transmission.

Here are the expected specifications of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto:
Maruti Suzuki will officially reveal the Invicto on July 5, 2023. We expect the carmaker to announce the prices of their flagship MPV on the same day itself. The new Invicto is likely to rival other D1-segment SUVs and MPVs like the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV700, Mahindra Scorpio N, Kia Carens and Hyundai Alcazar.
