Skoda today revealed the Slavia sedan to the world and opened bookings for their new sedan. The deliveries will start sometime in Q1 2022. The sedan’s specialities are its size and engine performance. It’s not quite as long as the new Honda City, but overall, it’s about as big as the City. It's also the widest car in the C-segment sedan space. According to our length-based segmentation, the Slavia is an exception in the C-segment, as it’s big enough to compete with the D-segment sedans. However, its features, engine specs and expected price makes it a suitable rival for the C-segment rivals like the Nexa Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, Toyota Yaris and Volkswagen Vento. The Slavia is sure to offer a commanding road presence.

Besides large exterior dimensions, the 2022 Skoda Slavia will also offer the best-ever, 521-litre boot space. With the rear seats folded, the space expands to 1050 litres.
Skoda Slavia 2022 - Engine Specs
In terms of engine specs, the Slavia will use the exact same engines as the Kushaq. That means it’ll get a 1.0L turbo petrol and a 1.5L turbo petrol engine. The smaller engine will come with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The larger engine will have the option of a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The 1.5L petrol engine will also offer the cylinder-deactivation technology, which cuts the fuel supply to 2 of the 4 cylinders when the vehicle is not experiencing much load.
