Tata Harrier Gets New Variants With Attractive Features | V3Cars
Tata Motors have added new variants to the Harrier range which offer several feel-good features at a lower price. The new XZS variants sit between the Harrier XZ and XZ+ variants. Tata offer the Harrier XZS variants with both manual and automatic transmissions.

The new XZS variants include the XZS single-tone, XZS dual-tone and XZS Dark edition. The XZS variant offers features like a panoramic sunroof, auto-dimming IRVM, 17-inch alloy wheels, and 6-way power-adjustable driver seat. The XZS misses out on features like ventilated front seats and iRA connect, both of which are reserved for the top-spec XZ+ variants. The Kaziranga edition further adds features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, new seat upholstery and a cabin air purifier.

The Tata Harrier comes with a Fiat-sourced 2.0L turbo diesel engine. It produces 170PS of power at 3750rpm and 350Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 2500rpm. The engine comes mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Tata Motors are said to be working on a petrol engine derived from the 1.2L turbo petrol engine seen in the Nexon. The new petrol engine is likely to be introduced in the Harrier and Safari in 2023. We also expect Tata Motors to launch the mid-cycle facelifts of both the Harrier and Safari next year.
