Tata Motors are all set to launch the Red Dark Edition of the Nexon, Harrier and Safari SUVs tomorrow. Tata Showcased the Harrier and Safari Red Dark Edition SUVs at the 2023 Auto Expo with new features while the Nexon Red Dark Edition is yet to be unveiled.

2023 Tata Harrier And Safari Red Dark Edition

Tata Harrier and Safari Red Dark Edition SUVs offer a couple of new features over the regular variants. Tata Motors recently opened bookings for the MY2023 Harrier and Safari and the upcoming Red Dark editions sit above the top-spec XZ+ variants. Both the Harrier and Safari Red Dark Edition SUVs offer an all-black exterior colour with black alloy wheels and red brake calipers.

On the inside, both SUVs offer an all-black dashboard with red leatherette seat upholstery. The soft touch red leatherette finish is also offered on the door handles. Furthermore, the Red Dark editions also get a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Both SUVs also offer a new 7.0-inch full-colour LCD driver’s display with digital tachometer and fuel and temperature gauges.

In terms of powertrains, both SUVs will continue to offer a 2.0L turbo diesel engine, albeit with BS6 phase-2 compliance. The updated engine produces 170PS of power at 3750rpm and 350Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 2500rpm. The transmission options include a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic.

2023 Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition

The details of the upcoming Nexon Red Dark Edition are still under the wraps. Like the Harrier and Safari, the Red Dark Edition of the Nexon is likely to sit above the top-spec XZ+ variant. Apart from the regular set of features that the Nexon offers, the Red Dark Edition is likely to get an all-black exterior paint, black alloy wheels with red brake calipers and red seat upholstery. Furthermore, the Red Dark Edition could also offer the updated touchscreen infotainment system and a digital driver’s display.

Tata Motors are set to announce the details and prices of the Nexon, Harrier and Safari Red Dark Edition SUVs tomorrow i.e February 22, 2023. The upcoming special editions of the 3 SUVs are likely to replace the Jet edition that was recently discontinued.
