Upcoming Cars In April 2024 - Toyota Taisor, New Mahindra XUV300 Facelift And More | V3Cars

Here’s a list of all upcoming cars in April 2024. Our list includes the likes of the new Toyota Taisor and the Mahindra XUV300 facelift, among others.

Upcoming Cars In April 2024

1. Toyota Taisor

The much-anticipated Maruti Fronx-based Toyota Taisor SUV was teased recently. Toyota had earlier confirmed to the media that they are planning to reveal a new vehicle on April 3, 2024. We expect Toyota to call this new vehicle the Urban Cruiser Taisor. The silhouette confirms that the new SUV is not only likely to share the powertrain and platform with the Fronx but also most of the body panels.

Hence, we expect Toyota to offer the Urban Cruiser Taisor with 2 petrol engine options – a 1.2L normal petrol and 1.0L turbo petrol. The 1.2L normal petrol engine produces 90PS of power and 113Nm of torque and comes with 2 transmission options – a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. The 1.0L turbo petrol engine produces 100PS of power and 148Nm of torque and comes with 2 transmission as well – a 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Toyota could also offer the Taisor with the Fronx’s 1.2L CNG bi-fuel engine option as well.

2. Volkswagen Taigun GT Plus Sport And GT Line

Volkswagen unveiled new variants of their C-segment SUV called the Taigun GT Sport Plus and Taigun GT Plus at the brand’s annual conference last month. Compared to other Taigun GT variants, the new Taigun GT Plus Sport gets smoked LED tail lamps, red ‘GT’ branding on the grille, fender and tailgate, dark chrome door handles, and red brake calipers. VW have replaced the chrome trim seen in other Taigun GT variants with a glossy black front grille, front diffuser, ORVM covers, and fender badges. The Taigun GT Plus Sport also gets a grey roof and 17-inch gloss black alloy wheels.

The Taigun GT Line gets the same dark treatment as the GT Plus Sport but misses out on the red GT badge on the grille. It instead gets a ‘GT Line’ badge on the doors. It also does not feature the red brake calipers the GT Plus Sport gets. Know more about the changes to the interior of the 2 new variants by clicking the link below.
