With the petrol-manual powertrain, the Hyundai Creta’s prices start at Rs. 10.84 lakh and top out at Rs. 14.78 lakh. The Hyundai Verna’s petrol-manual range costs between Rs. 10.9 lakh and Rs. 15.99 lakh.

The Creta petrol-automatic is available in 4 variants with prices ranging from Rs. 16.26 lakh to Rs. 17.64 lakh. The Verna’s 4 petrol-automatic variants cost between Rs. 14.24 lakh and Rs. 17.38 lakh.
The 8 diesel-manual variants of the Hyundai Creta start at Rs. 11.89 lakh and go up to Rs. 17.53 lakh . Hyundai Verna is not available with diesel-manual powertrain.
The 3 diesel-automatic variants of the Hyundai Creta start at Rs. 18.93 lakh and go up to Rs. 19.13 lakh. Hyundai Verna is not available with diesel-automatic powertrain.
The Hyundai Creta is an SUV while the Hyundai Verna is a sedan. The Creta is 4300mm long, 1790mm wide and 1635mm tall. The Creta’s wheelbase is 2610mm long. The Verna measures 4535mm long, 1765mm wide and 1475mm tall and has a wheelbase measuring 2670mm. In terms of dimensions, the Hyundai Creta is considerably larger than the Hyundai Verna. So, the Creta will offer a stronger road presence than the Verna.
The Creta has a ground clearance of 190mm while the Verna has a ground clearance of 170mm. The 433-litre boot space of the Creta is 95 litres smaller than that of the Verna.
The Hyundai Creta only gets a 1.5L normal petrol engine, which is available with a 6-speed manual and CVT automatic transmission. The Creta’s 1.5L normal petrol engine makes 115PS of power at 6300rpm and 144Nm of torque at 4500rpm.
The Hyundai Verna is available with 2 petrol engines - a 1.5L normal petrol and a 1.5L turbo petrol engine. The 1.5L normal petrol engine gets a 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic transmission, while the 1.5L turbo petrol engine is available with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.
The 1.5L normal petrol engine of the Verna makes 115PS of power at 6300rpm and 144Nm of torque at 4500rpm. The 1.5L turbo petrol engine in the Hyundai Verna pushes out 160PS of power at 5500rpm and 253Nm of torque between 1500 and 3500rpm.

The Hyundai Creta only gets a 1.5L turbo diesel engine, which is available with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic TC transmission. The Creta’s turbo diesel engine makes 115PS of power at 4000rpm and 250Nm of torque between 1500 and 2750rpm.
