In this Mahindra Marazzo vs Maruti Suzuki XL6 comparison, we’ll look at the variant-wise prices, engine specs, dimensions to help you decide which car you should buy.

Let’s first look at the prices of both the cars for the petrol-manual powertrain.
Mahindra Marazzo is not available with a petrol-manual powertrain. The Maruti Suzuki XL6’s petrol-manual range costs between Rs. 11.59 lakh and Rs. 13.16 lakh.
Mahindra Marazzo is not available with a petrol-automatic powertrain. The XL6’s 3 petrol-automatic variants cost between Rs. 13.06 lakh and Rs. 14.66 lakh.
The 6 diesel-manual variants of the Mahindra Marazzo start at Rs. 14.12 lakh and go up to Rs. 16.48 lakh(ex-showroom). The XL6 is not available with a diesel-manual powertrain(ex-showroom).

The Mahindra Marazzo is an SUV while the Maruti Suzuki XL6 is a MPV. The Marazzo is 4585mm long, 1866mm wide and 1774mm tall. The Marazzo’s wheelbase is 2760mm long. The XL6 measures 4445mm long, 1775mm wide and 1755mm tall and has a wheelbase measuring 2740mm. In terms of dimensions, the Mahindra Marazzo is considerably larger than the Maruti Suzuki XL6. So, the Marazzo will offer a stronger road presence than the XL6.
The Marazzo has a ground clearance of 200mm while the XL6 has a ground clearance of 185mm. The 190-litre boot space of the Marazzo is 360 litres smaller than that of the XL6.
The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is only available with a 1.5L mild hybrid petrol engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. This engine makes 103PS of power at 6000rpm and 137Nm of torque at 4400rpm.
The Mahindra Marazzo is only available with a 1.5L turbo diesel engine and a 6-speed manual transmission. This engine makes 123PS of power at 3500rpm and 300Nm of torque between 1750 and 2500rpm.
The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is only available with a 1.5L normal CNG engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. This engine makes 88PS of power at 6000rpm and 122Nm of torque at 4400rpm.
