    Kia Sonet Launch Tomorrow - Expected Prices, Specs & Features

    Kia is set to launch the Sonet in India on 18 September 2020. Sonet is a 5-seater, B2-segment SUV that will rival the Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Honda WR-V, Toyota Urban Cruiser and Ford EcoSport.

    Kia Sonet’s prices for the petrol-manual powertrain are expected to start from ₹6.90 lakh and go up to ₹11.30 lakh. For the petrol-automatic powertrain, Sonet's starting price is expected to be ₹9.90 lakh.

The Kia Sonet turbo petrol manual has a mileage of 18.2kmpl while the automatic claims to deliver a fuel efficiency figure of 18.3kmpl.

    Kia Sonet’s 1.5L, 4-cylinder diesel engine makes 100PS of maximum power and 240Nm of peak torque. It is available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter type automatic transmission. The Kia Sonet diesel-manual has a mileage of 24.1kmpl while the automatic claims to deliver a fuel efficiency figure of 19kmpl.

    Kia Sonet’s 1.2L, 4-cylinder petrol engine makes 83PS of maximum power and 115Nm of peak torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual transmission and has a mileage of 18.4kmpl.

    It is worth noting that Sonet’s turbo-petrol engine won’t be available with a conventional manual transmission. The Sonet will get features like side and curtain airbags, ventilated front seats, wireless smartphone charger, auto AC with rear AC vents, digital instrument cluster and sunroof in its top variant.
