Kia India recently updated the prices of the Sonet by up to Rs. 27,000. After this price revision, the Sonet's ex-showroom prices now start at Rs. 8 lakh and tops out at Rs. 15.77 lakh.

Along with this revision, Kia also added 3 new variants to the list.
No variants of Sonet were discontinued by Kia
Prices of the Sonet 1.2L normal petrol went up by up to Rs. 12,000 and the HTK (O) and HTK Plus manual variants witnessed the biggest price change. In terms of percentage, for the Sonet 1.2L normal petrol, the HTK (O) manual variant saw the biggest price increase of 1.30%.
The prices of the Sonet 1.0L turbo petrol are now higher by up to Rs. 17,000. The Sonet X-Line automatic variant changed by as much as Rs. 17,000. For the Sonet 1.0L turbo petrol, the HTK Plus ACMT variant got the biggest price increase of 1.52%. Kia also added HTK ACMT and GTX automatic variants with the 1.0L turbo petrol engine option.
The prices of the Sonet 1.5L turbo diesel are now higher by up to Rs. 27,000, except the HTX Plus manual variants whose price was decreased by Rs. 9,100. The Sonet HTX manual variant changed by as much as Rs. 27,000. For the Sonet 1.5L turbo diesel, the HTX manual variant got the biggest price increase of 2.23%. Kia also added a GTX automatic variant with the 1.5L turbo diesel engine option.
