    Maruti Suzuki Swift Available With iCreate Personalization Scheme

    Maruti Suzuki is working to introduce the next generation Swift in the Indian market. Although, the Indian manufacturer has not revealed much about the upcoming Swift, but what we know is that Maruti Suzuki has introduced its 'i Create' personalization concept on the Swift hatchback for customers. The i Create concept offers a host of customization options to the exterior and interior and was first introduced on the Vitara Brezza last year in 2016.

Although, the Indian manufacturer has not revealed much about the upcoming Swift, but what we know is that Maruti Suzuki has introduced its 'i Create' personalization concept on the Swift hatchback for customers. The i Create concept offers a host of customization options to the exterior and interior and was first introduced on the Vitara Brezza last year in 2016.

     

    Speaking about offering the iCreate personalization scheme with Maruti Suzuki Swift, R S Kalsi - Maruti Suzuki, Senior Executive Director (Marketing & Sales) said, “At Maruti Suzuki we believe in setting trends, leading the industry and giving an exclusive personalization experience to our customers. ‘i Create’ is a revolutionary tool for car enthusiast who love to flaunt their individuality on their cars. After the success of ‘i Create’ on Vitara Brezza, we are introducing it on Swift, which will empower the young and dynamic customers to create their own impression on their Swift.”

     

    Talking about the iCreate Personalization concept, the personalization scheme offers over 120 customization options through numerous combinations to the buyers. The customers can access this concept via the configurator available online as well as the dealership. The personalization concept also offers exclusively designed roof wrap and hood graphic options, striking exterior body styling kits such as garnishes for the front grille, headlamps and rear hatch, along with body side moldings, encompassing spoilers, alloy wheels and a lot more. Apart from these, the interior Flocking kit in various colors available in red, blue and black for the Swift, along with interior styling kits including wood and carbon finish interior garnishes, designer cushions and mats, special steering wheel covers (red, blue and white and a new range of seat covers are also there to provide numerous customization combination options to the customers.

     

    Other accessories offered with the iCreate concept include a bass tube, 270-watt speakers, 700-watt 4-channel amplifiers, 140-watt active subwoofer and 1000-watt DBX 30.3 subwoofer, an air purifier, rear seat entertainment screens, fitment of armrest, window sunshade, a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, IRVM with reverse park assist system, extreme vision bulb etc. However, unlike the Vitara Brezza, there are no fixed packages here in terms of pricing providing a lot of room to experiment to the manufacturer as well as the customers and the final added cost over the standard Swift will depend on what options you choose to customize your next gen Swift.

     

    Introduced for the first time in 2005, the outgoing model was launched in the year 2011. The existing Maruti Suzuki Swift comes with 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engine options. While the naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 83.1 bhp and 115 Nm of torque, the turbocharged diesel engine develops 73.97 bhp of maximum power and 190 Nm of torque. Both h engines come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The car returns a fuel efficiency of 20.4 kmpl with the petrol model and at 25.2 kmpl with the diesel model.

     

    One of the most loved cars by Maruti Suzuki, Swift has sold more than 1.5 million units till its first introduction. The car is available in ten configurations, with prices ranging from INR 4.79 lakh -7.46 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The standard features offered with the outgoing Maruti Suzuki Swift include silver front fog lamp bezel ornament, power adjustable & retractable ORVMs and 15-inch alloy wheels along with keyless entry, engine push-start, automatic climate control, ABS, EBD, BA, dual-front airbags and reverse parking sensor.
