May 2022 Maruti Suzuki Car Sales Analysis - YoY, MoM Change | V3Cars
In this May 2022 Maruti Suzuki Cars Sales Analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Arena and Nexa for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Maruti cars sales are improving and which ones are declining

May 2022 - Maruti Suzuki Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- Other than the abnormal YoY gains of the Celerio, the Ignis and Eeco were top performers with 967.73% and 856.39% rise, respectively
- Most of the cars in Maruti’s portfolio witnessed a YoY drop in April 2022
- In this comparison of May 2022 sales with May 2021 sales, there are no sales declines because sales were already way too low in May 2021
- It looks like the Ciaz is continuing to lose ground to newer cars like the Skoda Slavia, Honda City and the upcoming Volkswagen Virtus as customers are willing to hold their purchase for a bigger car
- The WagonR remains a consistent performer and the 2022 update must have helped as the newer model has a significantly better mileage from its new dual-jet engine
