In this May 2023 Mahindra car sales analysis, we’ll look at the car sales of Mahindra for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Mahindra cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. May 2023 - Mahindra Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- Scorpio pair(Scorpio-N & Classic) were the best-selling cars in the month of May. Over 9,300 units of the pair were sold.
- Scorpio pair was also the best gainer with 114% YoY gains in May comparison analysis.
- The Thar was the second best gainer for Mahindra, with a 34% YoY growth in the month of May.
- Mahindra launched its first and only electric car, the XUV400 in the past year and reported about 700 units dispatched in the month of May.
- Speaking of losers, Marazzo was the top loser with a 74% drop in YoY comparison analysis.
- Alturas G4 was discontinued by the carmaker. Besides that, E-Verito has been reporting zero dispatches for three consecutive months and may have been discontinued by the carmaker.

May 2023 - Mahindra Car Sales Figures - MoM Change
- Most Mahindra cars reported an MoM decline in May, with the exception of XUV300 and XUV700, which reported a MoM growth of around 1.24% and 10.26%, respectively
- Amongst the losers, the XUV400 saw the biggest decline of about 23%, followed by the Thar with 19%
- Other notable loser in MoM comparison losers for Mahindra in May was the Bolero pair with a 9.76% decline in dispatches
