In this May 2023 Skoda car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Skoda for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Skoda cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Skoda cars.
May 2023 - Skoda Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- The Slavia and Kushaq, the 2 C-segment cars from Skoda, are still consistent top sellers for the brand. Dispatch numbers of both cars hovered around the 1,700 mark in May 2023
- The low-volume Kodiaq SUV was the only car from Skoda to have reported a growth (of over 48%) in May YoY comparison analysis
- All other cars saw a decline in YoY comparison for Skoda in May
- The Superb was the top loser, with a 93.42% decline in May YoY sales comparison
- The Superb was followed by Slavia, with a 31.27% decline
- Skoda discontinued the Octavia over the past month

May 2023 - Skoda Car Sales Figures - MoM Change
- The Kodiaq was the top gainer, with a 12.14% growth in dispatches, in May over April
- The Kodiaq was followed by Slavia, with a 6.87% rise in sales in May
- Skoda sold just 121 units of the Superb in April, and sale fell by over 90% in May to just 10 units, making it the top loser
- Kushaq also reported a decline of 22% in dispatches in the month of May compared to April.
