Manually-Retractable Roof That’s Lighter!

The manually-retractable roof of the 718 Spyder RS makes it lighter than the 718 Spyder by 40kg. Furthermore, it is even lighter than the fixed top 718 Cayman RS Coupe by 5kg. Its convertible roof top mechanism weights just 18.3kg, which is 7.6kg lighter than the 718 Spyder and a whole 16.5kg lighter than the 718 Boxster.
