Tata offer the Nexon EV in three variants; XM, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux. The Dark Edition comes with XZ+ and XZ+ Lux variants. To know more about the variants, you can watch our variants explained video below.
The XZ Plus Lux variant will get you some additional features like an electric sunroof, auto headlamps and wipers and adjustable rear headrests. However, none of the variants get the cruise control feature, which hints that Tata Motors don’t expect the customers to frequently use the car on the highways and limit the usage to the city.

A 30.2kWh battery powers the Nexon EV. The motor of the Nexon EV produces 129PS of power and 245Nm of torque. It has a claimed range of 312Km. A fast charger can charge the Nexon EV to 80% within an hour.
The prices of Nexon EV starts from Rs. 14.30 lakh and goes up to Rs. 16.90 lakh for the top Dark Edition variant. There are rumours that Tata will update the Nexon this year. It will get a bigger, 40kWh battery that will provide more power and a longer range.
