2024 Tata Harrier Gets New ADAS Features

As part of the latest update, the 2024 Harrier now gets lane-keeping assist and adaptive steering assist with lane centering.

Lane-keeping assist (LKA) is a safety feature that helps the car stay within its lane, especially during long drives or in situations where the driver might be drowsy or distracted. This system uses cameras or sensors to detect lane markings on the road and gently applies steering wheel torque to keep the vehicle centred within the lane. It’s designed to provide subtle assistance, not to take over control of the vehicle.

Adaptive steering assist with lane centering is an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) that takes lane-keeping assistance to the next level. It not only helps keep the vehicle within its lane but also actively centres it within the lane markings.

The Harrier also offers ADAS features such as:

Forward collision warning
Autonomous emergency braking
Adaptive cruise control
Traffic sign recognition
High beam assist
Lane departure warning
Blind spot detection
Lane change alert
Door open alert
Rear cross traffic alert
Rear collision warning

2024 Tata Harrier Variant-Wise Colour Options Updated

Apart from adding new ADAS features, Tata Motors have also rejigged the variant-wise colour options for the 2024 Harrier. Take a look at the new colour options in the table below:

The 2024 Harrier does not feature any changes in the powertrain department. It continues to be powered by a 2.0L diesel engine that produces 170PS of power and 350Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
