Toyota are likely to reveal the new Innova Hycross family mover on November 25. Ahead of its launch, a new set of spy shots reveal its large panoramic sunroof and also give us a sneak peek into its interiors. The Toyota Innova Hycross will go on sale in Indonesia first, while the India launch is likely to take place in early 2023.

2023 Innova Hycross Panoramic Sunroof Spied
The new spy video of the 2023 Innova Hycross reveals a large panoramic sunroof. The sunroof seems to cover a large portion of the roof, all the way till the D-pillar. On the inside, the new Innova Hycross will feature a multi-layered dashboard with a freestanding touchscreen infotainment system on top of the AC vents. We expect Toyota to use soft touch materials on the dashboard for a premium feel as well.

In terms of design, the 2023 Innova Hycross could get a flat and tall bonnet. The new Toyota MPV is also likely to feature a bigger front grille than the Innova Crysta. The LED headlights are likely to be slimmer than the headlamp clusters on the Innova Crysta. It could also get LED DRLs positioned lower on the front bumper. Around the side, the new Innova Hycriss could offer 18-inch alloy wheels with disc brakes at all 4 corners. At the rear, the new Toyota MPV will get split LED tail lights.

The new Innova Hycross is likely to pack a lot more features than the Innova Crysta. We expect it to come with a new infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, 360-degree parking camera and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

In terms of powertrain, the new Innova Hycross could use a petrol-hybrid setup. We do not expect the Innova Hycross to offer any diesel engines. While details about the hybrid powertrain of the Innova Hycross are scarce, it could use a 2.0L hybrid powertrain and offer more power and torque than the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. For the cost-conscious buyers, Toyota could also offer a base petrol engine without the hybrid powertrain at a considerably lower price. The hybrid variants are likely to be offered with an e-CVT transmission while the base petrol-only variant could feature a manual transmission.

Toyota are likely to reveal the Innova Hycross in India later this month whereas its launch will take place in early 2023. The Toyota Innova Hycross will sit above the Innova Crysta and rival the Kia Carnival. The new Innova Hycross’ price could range from Rs. 18.99 lakh to 27.99 lakh ex-showroom.
