Volkswagen India will not offer the Virtus GT with a manual transmission. The Virtus GT, which will be offered with a 1.5L turbo petrol engine, will be offered with a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission instead. The 1.0L turbo petrol option for the Virtus, on the other hand, will get the option of a 6-speed manual and torque converter automatic transmissions. Volkswagen will reveal the prices of the 2022 Virtus in May while the bookings are already open.

Volkswagen India will offer two versions of the Virtus — the Dynamic line with the 1.0L turbo petrol and Performance Line with the 1.5L turbo petrol. The latter will come exclusively with the GT trim, offering sporty bits all around. The GT trim will get a GT grille, black ORVMs, black alloy wheels, and a boot lip spoiler.
