2022 Volkswagen Virtus Production Starts In India — Launch In May | V3Cars

Volkswagen India have commenced local production of the 2022 Virtus ahead of its launch in May 2022. With Virtus production kicking off early, Volkswagen should be able to reduce waiting periods for the sedan. The bookings for the 2022 Slavia are currently open for both 1.0L and 1.5L variants.

2022 Volkswagen Virtus

The 2022 Virtus was unveiled on March 8. It takes design cues from bigger and sportier sedans from the German carmaker’s portfolio such as the Volkswagen Jetta GLI. However, the side profile and the overall silhouette is similar to that of the Skoda Slavia, owing to the MQB-A0 IN platform that they share.
