In terms of engine specifications, it has a 1.4-litre diesel engine, which is middle-of-the-road in terms of displacement. It makes a modest 90PS of power at 4000rpm, which is at the bottom compared to the competition. But its torque figure is respectable at 220Nm. The torque comes in early at 1500rpm and stays put till 2750rpm. This diesel engine is available with a 6-speed manual transmission. It’s not available with an automatic transmission. 2019 Hyundai Venue Diesel Best Variant - SX

Based on our in-depth analysis, we can say that the price difference between each of the four variants of the 2019 Hyundai Venue diesel is justified. You can’t go wrong with any variant but the SX variant still comes out on top as it offers a package that most buyers will appreciate. We really wish it had keyless entry, rear armrest, split rear seats and rear washer and wipers as well. These features would’ve completed the SX variant even if they came at a cost and pushed the ex-showroom price closer to Rs. 10.0 lakh.
