Spark Minda, Minda Corporation Limited, has announced the appointment of Mr. Ajay Agarwal as Group Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel of the company, effective February 5, 2026. The appointment forms part of the company’s leadership-strengthening initiative and is in addition to Mr. Agarwal’s current role as President – Finance and Strategy.
In his expanded role, Mr. Agarwal will continue to oversee the company’s financial strategy and governance while also leading cross-functional initiatives across strategic growth, digital transformation, and investor relations. The appointment reflects a natural progression as Spark Minda prepares for its next phase of growth, leveraging his leadership to navigate evolving market dynamics and accelerate long-term value creation.
Since joining Spark Minda in May 2026, Mr. Agarwal has played a key role in strengthening the company’s financial performance, optimising capital allocation, and driving operational efficiencies. His expertise has contributed significantly to the company’s growth trajectory and the development of its long-term strategic vision.
A Chartered Accountant and a Lawyer by qualification, Mr. Agarwal brings over two decades of experience in financial leadership, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. He has held senior leadership positions across large and complex organisations, where he consistently drove financial excellence, organisational transformation, and sustainable value creation.
Prior to joining Spark Minda, Mr. Agarwal served at Vedanta Limited as President – Finance and Strategy, where he was instrumental in shaping financial strategy and leading key transformation initiatives. His professional journey also includes tenures with leading global professional services firms such as KPMG and PwC.
