Here are the notable new features of the 2023 Altroz Racer:
- Gloss black 16-inch alloy wheels
- Black bonnet and roof with racing stripes
- Spoiler
- Red accents in the cabin (AC vents, gear lever surround and seats)
- 6-speed manual transmission (currently, the Altroz gets 5-speed only)
- Electric sunroof
- Larger touchscreen (currently, the Altroz gets a 7-inch touchscreen)
- Ventilated front seats (segment-first feature)

The ventilated front seats feature makes the Altroz the only car in its segment to get this feature. Although, the inclusion of leather upholstery creates the need for ventilation in the first place. Fabric seats are naturally better at wicking and evaporating sweat but the inclusion of seat ventilation takes the ownership experience to a new level. It also gives the Altroz Racer some bragging rights as it becomes the first hatchback with this feature.

Here’s a quick look at the Altroz Racer’s engine specs:

Keen observers will recognize that the Altroz Racer borrows its 1.2L turbo petrol powertrain with its 6-speed manual transmission from the Nexon. With a higher performance figure, the Tata Altroz Racer aims to compete with the Hyundai N-Line.
