If there’s one thing missing in the Aspire’s spec sheet, it’s the automatic transmission. Neither of the two engines of the Aspire is available with an automatic transmission while the Nexon has an AMT with both engines.

For petrol powertrain, Nexons engine offers significantly more torque and will have better drivability. The Aspire petrol is more fuel-efficient though.

With the diesel powertrain too, Nexons packs more torque but the difference is smaller in this case. In the real world, the two cars will have similar drivability as their torque-to-weight ratios are similar. The lighter Aspire is still more fuel-efficient.
