Maruti Suzuki Ignis Facelift 2020 price start with Rs. 4.89 lakh and the top variant prices are Rs. 7.20 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. This New facelift Ignis 2020 comes with 1.2litre BS6 compliant petrol engine with 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT automatic transmission options. The New Ignis facelift has an SUV design with the front fascia, wide rear appearance and high seating position.
The New Tata Altroz premium hatchback comes with 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5L diesel engine. The 1.2-litre petrol engine prices start at Rs. 5.99 lakh and go up to Rs. 7.69 lakh. Prices of the diesel range start at Rs. 6.99 lakh and stretch up to Rs. 9.29 lakh ex-showroom in Delhi. As you can see, the starting price tag of the Altroz is very attractive for a car that scored highly on the Global NCAP crash test. But, the diesel variants cost quite a bit, mainly because of the BS6 norms. The difference between petrol and diesel variants is about Rs. 1.6 lakh. So, the petrol engine just makes more financial sense even if you clock a lot of kilometres. But, if you drive a lot and frequently on the highways, then the significantly better torque output may be useful on the highways.
