WHICH VARIANT TO BUY?

2021 Honda City - Which Variant to Buy?

The new 5th generation Honda City now comes with a uniform variant-to-variant price difference in all the powertrain options. Hence, our verdict remains true to all the 3 powertrain options of the car.

The City’s base V variant covers all the must-have features and also offers a number of feel-good features, while it is also value-wise better than the other two variants. So, there’s no doubt that it will be a good decision on your part, if you choose to buy the V variant. The V, despite being the entry-level variant of the City does not compromise on any important features.

However, we feel that compromising on the value a bit, you should actually go for the VX variant, primarily because of the 3 features - extra airbags, auto-dimming IRVM aur sunroof. These features will considerably improve your overall ownership experience of the City and will be a wise decision to choose.

You can definitely also go for the top City ZX variant when value is concerned. Nevertheless, this variant’s added features are not so compelling, so we feel that you can avoid buying this variant.

The following are our 2021 Honda City variant-wise recommendations:
