2026 Honda City Facelift Launch On May 22 – What To Expect

2026 City Facelift Exterior Changes Likely To Be Subtle

The 2026 City facelift is expected to receive minor cosmetic updates, including revisions to the grille, bumpers and lighting elements. Spy shots suggest the overall silhouette and side profile will remain unchanged. We expect Honda to focus on refreshing the look rather than redesigning it.

2026 City Facelift Expected Feature Additions

The bigger updates are expected inside the cabin, where the City has started to lag behind rivals in terms of features. Expected additions include:

  • Powered driver’s seat
  • Ventilated front seats
  • Larger touchscreen (possibly 10.25-inch)
  • Fully digital driver’s display
  • 360-degree camera

These upgrades aim to close the feature gap with competitors and improve overall value.

No Changes To Engine Options

The City facelift is expected to retain its current powertrain lineup:

  • 1.5L normal petrol
  • 1.5L strong hybrid

Transmission options, which include a 6-speed manual and CVT, will likely continue unchanged.

Expected Price Impact

Currently,  the City is priced from around Rs. 12 lakh to Rs. 16.07 lakh (ex-showroom), with the hybrid variant priced higher at Rs. 20 lakh. The facelift is expected to carry a modest price hike, depending on variant and added features.
