Ahead of its unveil on July 4, the Kia Seltos facelift was recently spotted without any camouflage. The test car revealed all the exterior changes of the facelift over the outgoing Seltos. Read on to know more about the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift.

The Seltos facelift offers a couple of prominent changes on the front and rear profiles, whereas the side profile only sees the inclusion of a new set of alloy wheels. At the front, the Seltos facelift gets a larger front grille and its LED DRLs now sit lower, entering inside the grille design. The LED headlights seem to have gained a projector setup whereas the current Seltos gets reflector-based LEDs. The lower bumper also gets a redesign and it retains its ice-cube-shaped fog lights.

Around the side, the Seltos facelift gets newly-designed alloy wheels, which are likely to measure 17-inch in size. The Seltos X Line, on the other hand, could offer 18-inch alloy wheels like the current model. At the rear, the Setlos now gets connected LED tail lights and they sit vertically rather than horizontally. The rear bumper now looks more aggressive thanks to body colour inserts and twin exhaust ports.
The images do not reveal the interior changes of the 2023 Seltos facelift. However, since the exterior changes of the India-spec Seltos facelift are in line with the global model, we expect its interior changes to also follow suit. The upcoming India-bound Seltos facelift could feature a connected, twin-screen setup. Each screen could measure up to 10.25 inches in size, similar to the ones in the all-electric Kia EV6.

Furthermore, the dashboard could also get a few revisions along with a generous use of soft-touch materials. In terms of features, the Seltos is already a fairly-loaded SUV and we could see the addition of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features with the facelift. A recent spy shot of the Seltos facelift also confirmed the presence of a panoramic sunroof in the C-segment SUV.

The 2023 Kia Seltos is likely to offer the same set of normal petrol and turbo diesel engine options as the current model. Furthermore, Kia could also offer the new 1.5L turbo petrol engine in the Seltos as a replacement for the now discontinued 1.35L (1.4L in Kia’s speak) turbo petrol engine. The new 1.5L turbo petrol engine already powers other Kia and Hyundai offerings like the Kia Carens, Hyundai Alcazar and new Verna sedan. It remains to be seen whether the Seltos will offer a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed auto-clutch manual transmission (ACMT) with the 1.5L turbo petrol engine.

While the Seltos facelift is all set to debut on July 4, 2023, the carmaker is tight-lipped about its launch timeline. However, since both Kia and Seltos celebrate their anniversary in August 2023, we think that the month of August is the perfect time to launch the Seltos facelift.
