Hyundai India have revealed the interior and features of the 2024 Alcazar facelift ahead of its launch in September. Bookings for Hyundai’s updated 3-row SUV are currently open for a token amount of Rs. 25,000. In this article, we take a look at the interior, features and powertrain specs of the upcoming Alcazar facelift.

Last week, Hyundai released images of the Creta-inspired design of the Alcazar SUV. Now, the brand has revealed the interior and new features of the Alcazar, which too are inspired by Hyundai’s best-selling C-SUV.
The upcoming Alcazar facelift gets the same dashboard layout as the 2024 Creta featuring twin 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment system and digital driver’s display. However, the Alcazar stands apart from the Creta thanks to its dual-tone tan and blue interior. The centre console gets a brushed aluminium finish and features the buttons for the various drive modes and an electronic parking brake.

Other changes over the current Alcazar include new front and rear captain’s chairs, with the second-row seats getting larger headrests with a foldable extension as seen in the recently-launched Citroen Basalt. Hyundai have removed the centre console that was placed between the 2 rear captain seats in the interest of offering better access to the third row.
In terms of features, the Alcazar 6-seater gets ventilated front and rear captain seats while the Alcazar 7-seater only offers this feature for the driver and front co-passenger. Second row passengers get access to USB ports and a wireless charging pad located at the back of the front row armrest. The higher variants of the Alcazar are expected to offer the following features:

The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar gets a thorough makeover on the outside. The revised front end features connected LED DRLs with an H-shaped lighting signature at either end. The bumper-mounted LED headlamps look similar to the ones on offer in the Creta facelift. Other changes include a wide dark chrome slatted grille and a butch faux skid plate finished in silver.
The side profile looks identical to the current SUV save for the new alloy wheels and redesigned roof rails. The wheel arches now get a black finish, giving the Alcazar facelift a more rugged character. At the rear, the Alcazar facelift gets connected LED tail lamps, a redesigned tailgate and a new rear bumper with a faux skid plate.

The 2024 Alcazar facelift retains the same powertrains as the current model. Engine options include a 1.5-litre turbo petrol with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT automatic and a 1.5-litre diesel engine with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Take a look at the Alcazar facelift’s powertrain specs:
The variant nomenclature for the Alcazar facelift remains unchanged. The updated 3-row SUV is available in 4 broad variants – Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature.
Hyundai have announced a new shade for the Alcazar facelift called Robust Emerald Matte apart from 9 other colour options. Expect staple colour options such as Atlas White, Abyss Black, Typhoon Silver, Starry Night, and Titan Grey to be carried forward along with a few dual-tone options.
