New Maruti Swift Discounts Up By 5k; Now Available With Discounts Of Up To 22k | V3Cars

In July 2024, we saw the recently-launched new Swift going on discounts for the first time. Maruti Suzuki have started offering Rs. 5,000 higher discounts on the new Swift in August 2024. This brings the total discount on Swift petrol to Rs. 22,000. The maximum offer on the new Swift in July was at Rs. 17,000.

Changes In New Swift Discounts (August 2024)

  • A small increase of Rs. 100 in corporate discount
  • For cars less than 7 years old, the exchange bonus is Rs. 20,000 instead of the older flat exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000 regardless of the vintage

We expect the discounts to swell up in the coming months. So, unless you absolutely need the Swift right now, only then you should buy it. As we have highlighted in the new Swift pros and cons and the price reaction, the pricing of the Swift is much higher than expected. Moreover, there are other cars with better pricing and feature distribution offering far superior value (e.g. XUV3XO base model). This pressure will build up on the Swift in the next few months and we should expect to see more offers on the Swift including cash discounts. Just wait it out for a couple more months.
