Tata Altroz CNG Variants, Features And Specifications — Brochure Leaked | V3Cars
Tata Motors will soon launch the Altroz CNG in the market and bookings for the upcoming CNG hatchback are already open. Ahead of its launch, the brochure of the Altroz CNG leaked online, revealing its key features, specifications and variants.

Tata Altroz CNG Variant Details
As per the leaked brochure, Tata Motors will offer the Altroz CNG in 5 variants — XE, XM+, XM+ (S), XZ, XZ+ (S) and XZ+ O (S). The variants with suffix ‘S’ will also offer an electric sunroof, which is currently not available in any variant of the Altroz. Furthermore, the Altroz CNG will become the first CNG hatchback to offer an electric sunroof in India.

Tata Altroz CNG Features
The top-spec XZ+ O (S) variant of the Altroz CNG will come packed with a lot of must-have and feel-good features. These features include automatic projector headlights, LED DRLs, reverse parking camera, touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charger, height adjustable front seatbelts, 8-speaker audio system, rear AC vents, tyre pressure monitoring system, air purifier and automatic climate control.
Tata Altroz CNG Powertrain Details
Tata Motors will offer the Altroz CNG with a 1.2L normal petrol-CNG engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. In CNG mode, this engine is likely to produce 75PS of power and 97Nm of torque. In petrol mode, it could offer 86PS of power and 113Nm of torque. The Altroz CNG also packs Tata’s new twin-CNG cylinder technology, which houses 2 30L CNG tanks beneath the boot floor in place of a single 60L CNG tank, as seen in regular CNG models, such as the Tiago CNG.

Tata Altroz CNG Launch Details
Tata Motors commenced bookings for the Altroz CNG last month and we expect the carmaker to announce its prices in the coming weeks. The Altroz CNG will go up against the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG and Toyota Glanza CNG. The Altroz CNG will be the 4th CNG model in Tata’s lineup and the carmaker is also likely to launch the Punch CNG soon.
