According to a leaked internal presentation, Tata Motors are expected to launch the 2024 Altroz Racer in early June. When launched, the highly anticipated Altroz Racer hatchback will rival the Hyundai i20 N Line. In this article, we take a look at the confirmed specifications of the Tata Altroz Racer and compare them against the 2024 i20 N Line.
Tata Altroz Racer Powertrain Specifications
The leaked document confirms the powertrain specifications of the upcoming Altroz Racer. As expected, the Altroz Racer will feature the Nexon’s 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine. Here’s a comparison between the power, torque and transmission details of the 2024 Altroz Racer against the i20 N Line:
Both the Tata Altroz Racer and i20 N Line share an identical power output of 120PS. However, the i20N Line produces 2Nm more torque than the Tata hatchback. While Hyundai offer 2 transmission options – a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT – for the i20 N Line, the Altroz is expected to come with a 6-speed manual transmission only.
Tata Altroz Racer Design And Feature Highlights
We expect the production-spec Tata Altroz Racer to look identical to the hatchback shown at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Expo. Design highlights include a dual-tone roof with black painted bonnet, ORVM covers and pillars, twin racing stripes, and black alloy wheels.
Expect the Altroz Racer to come equipped with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, 6-airbags, air purifier, voice-enabled sunroof, wireless charger, automatic climate control, sporty aluminium pedals, red stitching and accents, and a 360-degree surround view monitor.
