Avis India launched ‘Tool for Trade’, a managed mobility solution designed for agriculture-led industries. The initiative targeted organisations operating across rural and semi-urban markets. The programme aimed to support field operations and rural enterprise mobility across key agricultural regions.
Here’s what Avis India have to say about the ‘Tool for Trade’ mobility initiative:
Avis India announced the scaled rollout of its ‘Tool for Trade’ offering, aimed at expanding its managed mobility solutions into India’s agriculture and rural markets. The initiative is designed to support the fast-moving operational needs of agriculture-led industries and allied rural enterprises across key regions in the country.
‘Tool for Trade’ has been developed for organisations operating across diverse landscapes such as urban, semi-urban and rural markets. The solution caters to sectors including agri-input companies, farm machinery manufacturers, seed and fertiliser firms, chemical companies, and field-based sales and service teams. Through this offering, Avis India provides professionally managed vehicle solutions to ensure reliable and uninterrupted mobility for on-ground operations.
The initiative is being launched across major agriculture-driven states including Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan. These states serve as key hubs for farm equipment manufacturing, agri-input distribution, fertiliser and seed operations, and extensive rural channel networks.
The fleet mix includes vehicles such as the Mahindra Bolero, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Toyota Innova Crysta, Hyundai Venue and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. These vehicles have been selected for their durability and suitability across varied terrains and operating conditions. The solution is delivered through flexible leasing structures, professionally maintained vehicles and nationwide operational support.
By outsourcing fleet operations, organisations can focus on expanding their core business activities while improving field productivity and reducing administrative complexity. The model enables companies to scale their operations efficiently without investing in owned fleet infrastructure.
Commenting on the expansion, Aman Naagar, Managing Director, Avis India, said:
“India’s agricultural economy relies on reliable field mobility and minimal downtime. With Tool for Trade, we are extending our managed mobility capabilities beyond traditional corporate travel into core operating sectors that drive economic growth. Our objective is to provide businesses with a structured, compliant and scalable mobility solution that improves on-the-ground efficiency.”
With this initiative, Avis India is strengthening its strategic focus on non-urban mobility sectors and reinforcing its broader growth agenda by positioning managed mobility as a productivity enabler across diverse industries.
