With the petrol-manual powertrain, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx’s prices start at Rs. 7.47 lakh and top out at Rs. 11.64 lakh. The Maruti Suzuki Baleno’s petrol-manual range costs between Rs. 6.61 lakh and Rs. 9.33 lakh.
The Fronx petrol-automatic is available in 5 variants, with prices ranging from Rs. 8.88 lakh to Rs. 13.14 lakh. The Baleno’s 3 petrol-automatic variants cost between Rs. 8.00 lakh and Rs. 9.88 lakh.

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is not available with a CNG-manual powertrain. The Baleno CNG-manual is available in 2 variants with prices ranging from Rs. 8.35 lakh to Rs. 9.28 lakh.
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is an SUV while the Maruti Suzuki Baleno is a hatchback. The Fronx is 3995mm long, 1765mm wide and 1550mm tall. The Fronx’s wheelbase is 2520mm long. The Baleno measures 3990mm long, 1745mm wide and 1500mm tall and has a wheelbase measuring 2520mm. In terms of dimensions, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx is slightly longer, wider and taller than the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. So, the Fronx will offer a stronger road presence than the Baleno.
The Fronx has a ground clearance of 190mm while the Baleno has a ground clearance of 170mm. The 308-litre boot space of the Fronx is 10 litres smaller than that of the Baleno.
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is available with 2 petrol engines – a 1.2L normal petrol and a 1.0L turbo petrol engine. The 1.2L normal petrol gets a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT automatic transmission, while the 1.0L turbo petrol is available with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed TC automatic transmission.
The 1.2L normal petrol engine of the Fronx makes 90PS of power at 6000rpm and 113Nm of torque at 4400rpm. The 1.0L turbo petrol engine in the Maruti Suzuki Fronx pushes out 100PS of power at 5500rpm and 148Nm of torque between 2000rpm and 4500rpm.
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno is only available with a 1.2L normal petrol engine, which is available with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT automatic transmission. The Baleno’s 1.2L normal petrol engine makes 90PS of power at 6000rpm and 113Nm of torque at 4400rpm.

The Maruti Suzuki Baleno is only available with a 1.2L normal CNG engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. This engine makes 77PS of power at 6000rpm and 98Nm of torque at 4300rpm.
