Mercedes Benz has launched the 2021 S-Class at a starting price of Rs 2.17 crore (ex-showroom India). The S-Class is a premium luxury sedan that rivals the likes of the BMW 7 Series, Audi A8 L and the Lexus LS 500h. The 2021 S-Class is available in a single fully-loaded AMG Line ‘Launch Edition’ variant which is priced at Rs 2.17 crore and 2.19 crore for diesel and petrol respectively.
It is to be noted that the new S-Class is currently being brought to India as a CBU only. Locally assembled (CKD) S-Class will be launched later this year with a lower price tag.
