We recently also learned from our source that the Curvv will get 2 petrol engine options — the old 1.2L turbo petrol and a new, more powerful, 1.2L turbo petrol engine with direct injection. The Curvv will share the 1.5L turbo diesel engine with the Nexon but it’ll also get a DCT automatic transmission, which is a first for Tata Motors. A DCT with a diesel engine is also a rare combination in the Indian auto industry.
