Skoda have launched the 2025 Octavia RS at a price of Rs. 49.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand opened bookings for the new Octavia RS on October 6, 2025, and all 100 units were spoken for within 20 minutes. Let’s take a look at what the Skoda Octavia RS has to offer.
Skoda Octavia RS Performance Figures
The Skoda Octavia RS comes equipped with the same 2L turbo petrol engine as the 2025 Golf GTI. Here are the powertrain specs of the 2025 Octavia RS:
The new Octavia RS produces 265PS of power and 370Nm of torque, which is identical to the Volkswagen Golf GTI launched earlier this year. Like the VW hot-hatch, the Octavia RS gets a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT). The most powerful iteration of the Octavia does the 0-100kmph sprint in 6.4 seconds and offers an electronically-controlled top speed of 250kmph.

Over the standard Octavia sold in various global markets, the Octavia RS features an aggressive design thanks to additions such as sportier bumpers, RS badging, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a bot lip spoiler. The 2025 Octavia RS is available in 5 colours:
- White
- Black
- Green
- Blue
- Red
On the inside, the sporty sedan offers an all-black cabin with red contrast stitching. It also offers sports seats and a flat-bottomed 3-spoke steering wheel. Feature highlights include:
