BMW India have launched the 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition and it costs Rs. 46.0 lakh (ex-showroom). Read on to know more about the new 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition.

Available in limited numbers, the 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition can only be booked via the BMW Online Shop. Bookings are currently open for a token amount of Rs. 1.5 lakh.

The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition comes in an exclusive black metallic colour. At the front, it offers a new radiator grille with diamond studding and bronze surrounds. The bronze surrounds are also found near the fog lamp housing. Around the side, it offers M badging on the fenders and M Sport alloy wheels. Other details include M Performance Alcantara gear selector and M Performance parts.

In terms of features, the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, head-up display, 6 airbags, cruise control, panoramic sunroof, and launch control.

The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition is powered by a 2.0L turbo petrol engine. It produces 176PS of power at 5100rpm and 280Nm of torque between 1350rpm and 4600rpm, which is identical to the standard 220i variant. The engine channels power to a dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) that lets the sedan sprint from zero to 100kmph in 7.1 seconds.

At Rs. 46.0 lakh ex-showroom, the 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance 220i commands a premium of Rs. 50,000 over the regular 220i variant.
