September 2023 - 20 Top-Selling Cars YoY Change
- Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara reported the best-combined growth figure, with a gain of over 147% in terms of YoY comparison.
- The Baleno was the best-selling car in India in Sept 2023, with almost 18,500 units sold.
- The second-best YoY performer in Sept 2023 was the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, with a growth of over 45%.
- The top 15 best-selling cars in Sept 2023 sold well over 10,000 units each.
- The Maruti Alto and Alto K10 pair were the top losers in the YoY comparison analysis with over 68% decline in YoY numbers.
- The Alto pair was followed by WagonR with a 19% decline in the YoY comparison analysis for the month of Sept.
- Half of the models on the top 20 best-selling list in Sept 2023 are from Maruti and the homegrown carmaker claimed top 4 out of 5 spots.

Sept 2023 - 20 Top-Selling Cars MoM Change
- The Nexon was the top performer in terms of MoM comparison analysis for the month of September, with over 90% increase in dispatches compared to August 2023.
- The XUV700 was the second-best performer in the MoM comparison for the month of September, with over 31% growth in sales.
- Almost half of the top 20 selling cars in the list saw an MoM growth in dispatch numbers.
- The Swift was the top losing car in the MoM comparison with a decline of 21%.
- The Swift was followed by the Alto K10, which saw a decline of about 19% in the MoM comparison for Sept.
