Jeep Meridian Upland And X Special Editions Launched In India | V3Cars

Jeep India have launched 2 new special editions for the Meridian 3-row SUV — Meridian X and Meridian Upland. Jeep have also introduced 2 new colour options for the updated Meridian SUV. The prices of the special editions start from Rs. 33.41 lakh and go up to Rs. 38.47 lakh, depending on the variant and type of accessories the customer chooses.

Jeep Meridian Upland Special Edition

The Meridian Upland Special Edition is targeted towards the buyers who want to explore and go over various terrains. To deal with treacherous conditions, Jeep have equipped the Meridian Upland with a roof carrier, side steps, splash guards, boot organiser, sunshades, cargo mats, tyre inflator and a unique decal on the bonnet. Furthermore, Jeep also offer a rear entertainment package at 50% price discount, which includes a WiFi-enabled 11.6-inch screen.

Jeep Meridian X Special Edition

The Meridian X Special Edition is targeted towards the buyers who mostly drive their SUV within city confines. Hence, Jeep have painted its bumpers and cladding in body colour. Furthermore, it also offers a grey roof, different alloy wheels, side moulding, puddle lamps and interior ambient lighting. Like in the case of the Upland Edition, the rear entertainment package is also available with the Meridian X Edition with 50% price discount.

Jeep Meridian Powertrain Details

The Jeep Meridian comes with a sole 2.0L turbo diesel engine. It produces 172PS of power at 3750rpm and 350Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 2500rpm. The manual transmission can only be had with front-wheel drivetrain whereas the automatic transmission offers the option of both front- and four-wheel drivetrains.
