Kia Launch New Seltos GTX+ (S) And X Line (S) Variants To Reduce Waiting Period | V3Cars

Kia Seltos GTX+ (S), X Line (S) Variants Launched

The newly launched GTX+ (S) and X Line (S) variants of the Seltos sit between the HTX+ and X Line variants of the SUV. The Kia Seltos GTX+ (S) variant is priced at Rs. 19.40 lakh while the Seltos X Line (S) costs Rs. 19.60 lakh ex-showroom. The GTX+ (S) and X Line (S) variants of the Seltos are available with petrol DCT and diesel AT powertrain options. The GTX+ (S) and X Line (S) variants are Rs. 40,000 cheaper than the Seltos GTX+ and X Line.

Kia Seltos GTX+ (S), X Line (S) Features

Both the Seltos GTX+ (S) and X Line (S) variants lack features that are otherwise available in the GTX+ and X Line variants. The missing features include the premium Bose sound system and 360-degree parking camera. Instead, the new variants offer a standard 6-speaker sound system and a regular reverse parking camera. However, both variants continue to offer other notable features like Level-2 ADAS, front ventilated seats, 18-inch alloy wheels, and an electronic parking brake.

Kia Seltos Waiting Period Reduced

Kia hopes that the introduction of the new variants will help them reduce the waiting period for the Seltos. Currently, the top variants of the new Seltos command a waiting period of up to 4 months. The Seltos GTX+ (S) and X Line (S) variants, on the other hand, command a waiting period of around 2 months. This should enable prospective customers of the Seltos to get their SUV delivered earlier without compromising on too many features.
