Kia have updated the Sonet and added new HTE (O) and HTK (O) variants. While these variants get a few extra features, the most notable among them is the addition of a sunroof. The addition of a sunroof at an affordable price makes them a strong competitor for the Tata Nexon, which offers sunroof in lower varnats of their Nexon.

This update makes the Sonet the 2nd most affordable car with a sunroof and the most affordable among SUVs. The Tata Altroz XM S variant costs Rs. 7.45 lakh and Hyundai i20 Sportz (O) costs Rs. 8.39 lakh. The Nexon Smart Plus S costs Rs. 10.80 lakh

It’s worth noting that the HTK petrol variant is no longer on sale as the HTK (O) replaces it. However, with the diesel-manual powertrain, you can buy the Sonet HTK as well as the HTK (O) variants.
