Mahindra XUV700 7-Seater Now More Affordable With Launch Of New MX Variant | V3Cars

Mahindra have made the 7-seater XUV700 more affordable with the introduction of a new MX 7-seater variant with both petrol and diesel engines. Prices for the 2024 Mahindra XUV700 7-seater with the petrol and diesel engine now start from Rs. 14.49 lakh and Rs. 14.99 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

Let’s start with how much the diesel XUV700 MX 7-seater variant’s price compares against the 5-seater variant:

Customers interested in buying the XUV700 diesel’s base MX variant now get the option of opting for the 7-seater configuration for a premium of Rs. 40,000. Compared to the previous XUV700 7-seater base diesel variant, the AX3, the MX 7-seater variant is cheaper by Rs. 3.0 lakh.

Considering the Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus only offer diesel engines, here's how their base 7-seater variants' prices compare against the XUV700 MX 7-seater diesel variant:

The new MX 7-seater variant of the XUV700 diesel is Rs. 1.20 lakh cheaper than the base Tata Safari Smart 7-seater variant and Rs. 2.0 lakh lesser than the MG Hector Plus Style 7-seater. Compared to the Hyundai Alcazar, which is set to receive a facelift soon, the Mahindra XUV700 diesel MX 7-seater variant is Rs. 2.79 lakh cheaper.

Mahindra XUV700 MX 7-Seater Engine Specs And Features

The Mahindra XUV700 MX 7-Seater diesel variant is powered by the brand’s 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine that produces 155PS of power and 360Nm of torque. The MX variant is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission.

In terms of features, the XUV700 MX 7-Seater diesel variant packs the following:
