Your cab just got a big safety upgrade. According to our sources, Maruti Suzuki will soon start offering the new 2025 Tour S taxi for commercial buyers. This is a big update for what is essentially India’s top-selling commercial car. With this update, the Dzire Tour S will become the only 5-star rated commercial car unless you buy a car typically not in commercial use and end up registering it as a taxi.

2025 Dzire Tour S Price

Maruti Suzuki will soon start selling it through their Arena channel. The 2025 Tour S petrol will cost Rs. 6.79 lakh while the Tour S CNG will cost Rs. 7.74 lakh (ex-showroom). Compared to the Dzire base model, the Tour S petrol will cost Rs. 5,000 less. For CNG, this is not a fair comparison as Maruti tend to upsell the VXI variant to Dzire CNG buyers and it costs Rs. 8.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the Tour S CNG is based on the LXI base model of the Dzire.

2025 Tour S Dzire Taxi Mileage — Another Upgrade

The Dzire petrol-manual has an ARAI mileage figure of 24.79kmpl while the CNG-manual powertrain has a mileage figure of 33.73kmpkg. Even the Dzire petrol-automatic has an ARAI mileage figure of 25.71kmpl.

With the Dzire Tour S 2025, our source claims that Maruti Suzuki are claiming to have achieved a 26.06kmpl mileage figure in the ARAI tests. That’s a 5.12% jump over the Dzire petrol-manual and 1.36% over Dzire petrol-auto.

For the Tour S CNG, the mileage figure is 34.30kmpkg, which is almost 1.7% higher than that of the CNG.

  • Halogen projector headlamps

  • Remote central locking
  • Shark-fin antenna

2025 Dzire Taxi Colour Options

With the 2025 model update, our source suggests that the Dzire will also get a silver colour option in addition to the plain-Jane white.
