Nissan India have launched the much-awaited AMT variants of the Magnite B2-segment SUV in the country. The Magnite EZ-Shift gets an introductory price of Rs. 6.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and bookings are currently open for a token amount of Rs. 11,000. However, the introductory prices are only valid for customers who book the Magnite AMT till November 10. The booking amount for the Magnite EX-Shift AMT variants is set at Rs. 11,000. Let’s take a closer look at what the Nissan Magine AMT has to offer.

The Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift, or Magnite AMT, is only available with the 1.0L normal petrol engine. Thus, the Magnite 1.0L normal petrol now gets 2 transmission options – a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). The new AMT option is also available with the recently launched Nissan Magnite Kuro edition. The 1.0L normal petrol engine of the Magnite AMT puts out 72PS of power at 6250rpm and 96Nm of torque at 3500rpm.

To enhance the driving experience of the Nissan Magnite AMT, the brand has given the SUV dual driving mode and intelligent creep function. Dual driving mode allows the driver to select between automatic and manual driving modes while the latter feature allows the SUV to crawl forward without any throttle input and comes in handy in stop-and-go traffic conditions. While the ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of the Magnite 1.0L normal petrol with the manual transmission is 19.35kmpl, the Magnite AMT offers 19.70kmpl.
