Skoda Slavia Elegance Edition – What’s New?

The Skoda Slavia Elegance Edition is based on the Style variant of the C-segment sedan. It is only available with a ‘Deep Black’ paint and gets chrome elements all around. Additionally, the Slavia Elegance Edition also features a chrome trunk garnish, a scuff plate with ‘Slavia’ inscribed in it, chrome lower door garnish, and ‘Elegance’ inscription on the B-pillars. The special edition sedan also gets 16-inch alloy wheels, puddle lamps with ‘Skoda’ logo projection, and ‘Elegance’ badging on the steering wheel. Additionally, the footwell area houses sporty aluminium pedals. Furthering the utility and aesthetics theme of the Elegance Edition, customers will get attractive textile mats and ‘Elegance’ branded cushions, seatbelt cushions as well as neck rests.

Skoda Kushaq Elegance Edition – What’s New?

Like the Slavia Elegance Edition, the Kushaq Elegance Edition too is based on the top-end Style variant and comes with the Deep Black paint as standard. The special edition Kushaq features the same exterior feature additions as the Slavia Elegance Edition, with the only differentiating factor being the 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels over the sedan’s 16-inch wheels. On the inside, both cars offer electronically adjustable seats for the driver and co-driver and an illuminated footwell. Both cars also feature a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 6-speaker + subwoofer setup as standard.

Both the Skoda Slavia and Kushaq Elegance Edition get a single engine option – the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that puts out 150PS of power and 250Nm of torque. Transmission options for the Elegance Editions of both cars include the 6-speed manual (MT) and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).

Skoda Kushaq, Slavia Elegance Edition Prices And Rivals

With a price tag of Rs. 17.52 lakh for the manual and Rs. 19.51 for the automatic, the new Skoda Slavia Elegance Edition is priced at a premium of Rs. 20,000 over the standard Style variant and Rs. 40,000 over the Slavia Matte Edition, which was launched a month before.

The Kushaq Elegance Edition manual is priced at Rs. 18.31 lakh while the automatic gets a price tag of Rs. 19.51 lakh, making them Rs. 12,000 more expensive than the Matte Edition but Rs. 50,000 more affordable than the Kushaq’s Monte Carlo variant. All prices are ex-showroom, India.

The Skoda Slavia and Kushaq Elegance Editions not only compete with the numerous special editions of their Volkswagen counterparts – the Virtus and Taigun – but also compete with other C-segment sedans and SUVs such as the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and others.
