Tata Nexon Feature Update – Rear Washer Wiper Removed | V3Cars

Tata Motors have removed the rear washer wiper from all Nexon variants. The rear washer wiper is a must-have feature in hatchbacks and SUVs. It helps keep the rear windshield clean, thereby enhancing rearward visibility. Earlier, Tata offered the rear washer wiper as a standard feature in the Nexon’s XZ Plus variant.

Update (Sep 5, 2022): After looking at the Nexon Jet Edition in person, we found that Tata Motors are still offering a rear washer wiper with the Nexon. It seems like it's only a communication error in Nexon's official brochure and web page where the mention of a rear washer wiper is missing. Until a few months ago, Nexon's web page on Tata Motors' official website clearly specified which variant onwards this feature is available. Meanwhile, the web pages of the Altroz, Tiago, Harrier and Safari list out the rear washer wiper on the variant-comparison page.

Since the pandemic scare started, Tata Motors have increased the prices of the Nexon several times. However, despite the price hikes, the demand for the Nexon remains strong. In fact, it is the best-selling SUV in the B2 segment. In addition to the Punch, it was the only Tata model to achieve 5-figure sales last month.

However, if you are looking for a Nexon petrol, you must check out our Variant Explained article to make an informed decision.
