The Tata Nexon EV has aced the recent round of Bharat NCAP crash tests, securing a perfect 5-star rating for both adult and child occupant protection. This impressive performance aligns with Tata's commitment to safety, following the similar 5-star achievement of the Punch EV, Harrier and Safari SUVs.

The Nexon EV's robust build and comprehensive safety features are reflected in its high scores. It earned 29.86 points out of 32 for adult occupant protection and 44.54 points out of 49 for child occupant protection. Standard safety equipment across all Nexon EV variants includes all-wheel disc brakes, hill hold and descent control for enhanced stability on inclines, an auto-dimming rearview mirror to prevent glare, electronic stability control (ESC) for improved handling, 6 airbags for comprehensive occupant protection, and a 360-degree camera for superior visibility during parking manoeuvres.
The Tata Nexon EV comes with 2 battery options to cater to varying driving needs. The Long Range (LR) variants boasts a 40.5kWh battery, while the Medium Range (MR) variants feature a 30kWh battery. These configurations translate to ARAI-certified driving ranges of 465km and 325km, respectively.
